The National Bioinformatics Network (NBN) is organising an intensive 18- week bioinformatics training course which will be held at the NBN Central Node on the campus of the University of the Western Cape. The course will be taught in 2 blocks:

Block 1
21st February till 14th April

Block 2
10th August till 11th October

It promises to be a fantastic training opportunity for all. Courses are being offered by experts in the field including both foreign and local trainers.

Applications
You may apply to attend the entire course, or selected modules. If you wish to be considered please make use of our course application system (http://www.nbn.ac.za/Education/workshop_2005.html). The deadline for applying for the individual modules is one week before the module is scheduled to take place.

Fees
The course fee per module for individuals from institutions that have an NBN node (University of the Witwatersrand, University of Cape Town, University of the Western Cape, Stellenbosch University, University of Pretoria, University of the North, CSIR, ARC Onderstepoort, Rhodes University, University of KwaZulu-Natal) is 600 Rand. The course Fee per module for non-NBN institutions is 1800 Rand.

Flights and Accommodations
If you have an NBN bursary we will organize and pay for your flights and accommodation if required.
