  • The Department of Research Policy and Cooperation 9RPC)/(EIP) at the World Health Organization is pleased to provide you the electronic link with the recently published report 'Genomics and World Health'. The report is intended to highlight the relevance of genomics for health care world-wide, with a particular focus on its potential for improving health in developing countries.
The report notes that Genomics is a double edged sword as it can lead to new interventions that can improve the health of all but it can also widen existing inequalities and the health and technology gaps between rich and poor countries.

The full report can be downloaded from the WHO web site: http://www3.who.int/whosis/genomics/genomics_report.cfm
