MRC ethics committee

The MRC is committed to upholding high ethical standards in research and is the guardian and custodian of ethics in health research via its Ethics Committee. The MRC Ethics Committee produced guidelines in 1993, Guidelines on Ethics for Medical Research, which is being revised at the moment.
