trauma
and drug surveillance system (TADSS)
The
Trauma and Drug Surveillance System (TADSS)
co-ordinated studies
between three cities over a three-year period. Preliminary results
indicated that alcohol was still the main injury- related
substance. Evidence of illicit drugs, taken alone, or in combination
with alcohol has, however, grown significantly particularly
in traffic trauma and violence related injuries.
